IRCC status
IRCC lists TEF Canada among approved French tests for Express Entry. IRCC names CCI Paris Ile-de-France as the administrator of TEF Canada for immigration.
IRCC says to use the 'Équivalence ancien score' column when converting TEF results, and not to enter the 'Score / 699' results in the Express Entry profile.
Results must be less than 2 years old at profile completion and at application.
Format
The test page states TEF Canada has four compulsory parts: reading, listening, writing and speaking. It is taken in person at an official test centre; registration is made directly with one of about 500 centres in over 110 countries. The page states results arrive in roughly 2 weeks.
What to check on the official page
Durations, fees, validity and accommodations are not on the page fetched. Check the provider's registration and examination conditions (French only) and your test centre.
